Dating back to 1887 and first printed by Liberty furnishing fabrics in the mid 1890s, "Hera" has been a popular favorite in the Liberty range on and off ever since. The design is named after the Greek Goddess of marriage, Hera, who had a peacock as her talisman. The peacock feather was a much used symbol during the Aesthetic Movement of the 1880s. This cashmere version of the design was introduced in 2013 and is screen printed in Italy, using 13 individual screens. Colour: purple
