A tribute to arctic hunting. Jackets like the alpine were originated by the northwest native people to wear while hunting in the nether regions of the arctic circle. The style was later adopted by air force flight crews stationed in extreme weather areas during the 1950's. Our alpine jacket is crafted in an infrared, water-resistant yet breathable fabric, and is filled with 90/10 traceable duck down for maximum protection from the elements. The lining features a heat-foil space-blanket for added insulation. The attached hood features removable, genuine farm certified saga® fox fur trim. Large front zipper pockets and sleeve pocket lend utility to this elevated cold-weather piece. Rib-knit cuffs and hem are the final touches. Shell: 100% polyester. Shell lining: 100% nylon.
