Gingham: Over the last week searches for gingham dresses have increased 49% with red and yellow gingham being the most wanted. Searches for the gingham print in general increased 22% month-on-month, while gingham face masks are particularly popular in the US and the UK.

Muscle Tees: Global demand for muscle tees and padded-shoulder T-shirts have been consistently high on Lyst over the past couple of months (+57% since April). Demand is steadily growing and this week we saw an additional 15% increase in searches. White is the most wanted color followed by black, grey and yellow.

#LetTheSunChainIn: Searches for the color yellow increased 16% week-on-week, while Camille Charriere launched a charity initiative using the hashtag and promoting the color, in collaboration with The Frankie Shop. Dresses remain the most wanted category and searches for yellow T-shirts and shirts are rising. They are currently up 18% collectively week-on-week.

Sunglasses and chains: The most wanted sunglasses over the past month include cat-eye styles like Céline and Saint Laurent, oversized shield shapes like Gucci and Dior as well as square slim shades styles like Jacquemus and Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh. Searches for sunglasses chains are up 16% since the beginning of May. Top viewed brands for eyewear chains include: Quay, ASOS and Lele Sadoughi.

Hawaiian shirts: There have been more than 7,000 searches for Hawaiian floral inspired outfits over the past month. Hawaiian shirts are by far the most popular product category – with searches up 44% since the beginning of this month.

Bucket hats:Searches are up 36% month-on-month while the most commonly searched brands are Prada, Gucci and Stussy.

Bodycon dresses: Looking at the last month year-on-year, searches for bodycon dresses are up 35%. In particular people are searching for ‘ribbed’ and ‘long’ bodycon dresses.

Melania’s influence: Searches for Gucci spiked 18% in 24 hours, after Melania Trump wore a white Gucci coat on Memorial Day.
