The Inoue Brothers

The Inoue Brothers is an exclusive knitwear, fine jewellery and casualwear label founded in 2004 by Danish brothers Satoru and Kiyoshi Inoue. A blend of Japanese sensibility and Scandinavian style, 'Scandinasian design', the brand focuses on collaborating with craft rich communities in South America and Africa, in addition to the area of Tohoku which was affected by a tsunami. Each project is chosen for the humanitarian and social progressive opportunity it creates, by working with the local communities and their natural materials to form heritage-inspired pieces. In addition, the label has also collaborated on a number of high profile projects with labels including Commes des Garcons, Lacoste and Monocle magazine.
