This eye-catching Liberty London solid cuff is the perfect keepsake or thoughtful present for friends and relatives. The design which adorns this costume piece was based on the best selling Liberty Scarf and hero print 'Hera'. Credited to Arthur Silver, the founder of the Silver Studio, in 1887 and first printed by Liberty furnishing fabrics in the mid 1890s, Hera has been a popular favourite in the Liberty range on and off ever since. The peacock feather was a much used symbol during the Aesthetic Movement of the 1880’s and the peacock was the talisman of Hera - the greek goddess of women and marriage, hence the name. The Hera classic scarf was re-worked in 2012 with an additional detailed border of weaving feathers added to further enhance the rich, opulent feel of the design. This elaborate border provided the inspiration for this bangle. Hera design, thick solid cuff. Hinged cuff; press button opening. Color: pink
