G.H Bass's Penny Wheel Patent Leather Loafers are based on an age old Norwegian fisherman shoe. Updated since the 19th century, the loafer went on to become the archetypal campus shoe of the American Ivy League universities, even being referenced in the Official Preppy Handbook amongst other publications of the era.
