Bottega Veneta designs easy-to-wear dresses enlivened with eye-catching details and prints. The label enlivens its pieces with everything from flattering wrap fronts, to eye-catching details and nipped-in waists.

Made from premium fabrics like fluid silk, wool and cotton, Bottega Veneta dresses are cut to mini, midi and maxi silhouettes in a variety of colours and designs. The brand’s dresses deserve to take centre stage, so you need only add simple accessories.

Whether your garment is cotton or cotton-blend, there is the possibility that it may shrink if not properly cared for. As cotton is prone to shrinkage, it’s best to clean in water that is 30°C or below. Colored cotton garments should be turned inside out before washing. Allow to air dry naturally, and give garments a gentle stretch to restore shapes as soon as they come out of the wash.

Lace is a delicate and elegant fabric, which often requires special care to keep it looking its best for years to come. If your lace becomes stained, it will need to be cleaned quickly as stains can stick to the lace fibres permanently if left untreated for too long. We recommend hand washing lace items in cold water with a delicate detergent. Work the soapy water into the fabric, and leave to soak for around 30 minutes. Rinse well to remove soap, and then press gently to remove any excess water. Avoid rubbing the lace fabric, instead use a gentle plunging action to remove any dirt or stains. Do not tumble dry or wring out, as lace should be dried flat away from direct sunlight. If you do decide to clean lace in the washing machine using a gentle wash cycle, it is advised to first place it in a laundry bag to protect it from getting damaged.

To help keep your silk items soft and in excellent condition for years to come, it is recommended to follow the instructions on each item’s care label. Some silk is ‘Dry Clean Only’, while other items may have ‘Dry Clean’ as the recommended cleaning method, but other methods may be used. It is advised to clean silk using a lower temperature to other fabrics, as hot water can affect the material’s natural properties and damage to the fibres. We also recommend selecting a specially-formulated silk detergent, which will be gentler on its natural proteins. Avoid spot cleaning silk, as rubbing in only one area can cause the material to lighten in just that spot. Silk should not be tumble dried, and instead can be laid flat to dry naturally. If you must wash in the machine, select a gentle, cold-water cycle, place in a laundry bag for additional protection and promptly remove from the washer to reduce any wrinkles. If the care label on your silk item says that it can be ironed, then use a low iron setting and ideally iron while it is still slightly damp.
