Vineyard Vines was established in 1988 in Martha's Vineyard, which is where the inspiration for the brand name came from. The label is the work of two brothers who had spent every summer in the vineyard and who decided to trade in Manhattan desk jobs for a life selling attire to those they were leaving behind.
