What started off in 1989 as a simple sticker design of graffiti artist Shepard Fairey, evolved into a viral street art campaign that spawned in turn a full range of merchandise. The subsequent clothing line was launched in 2001, with a range of casual attire embossed with the artist's distinctive images and artwork. Representing counterculture, OBEY has become a cult label in its own right, fusing urban style with punk and skate culture. Its rings embody this edgy style, creating statement accessories. Think gold signet rings stamped with OBEY, spike rings and three-finger pieces in the shape of snakes.
