Founded in 2008, Raquel Allegra's eponymous label has become synonymous with the featherweight shredded jersey pieces for which she first gained notoriety. Imbued with a theme of 'informal beauty', the Californian designer creates slouchy, disheveled pieces, first inspired by her shredding experiments with oversized vintage T-shirts recycled from the Los Angeles County Prison System. The designer's signature hand-shredding technique continues through this range of Raquel Allegra tops. Combined with a pared-down colour palette, bleached and tie-dyed fabrics fall in relaxed shapes to create a chic yet laid-back style.
