Linen is a durable and sturdy fabric, but does need special attention to keep it looking its best. We suggest always checking the care label for guidance on whether it is washable before cleaning. Most linen clothing usually is, with the exception of those blended with other fibres and therefore dry clean only. To prevent colour transfer, wash dark and light items separately. Select a gentle spin cycle on the machine, or hand wash in lukewarm water to prevent shrinkage. Avoid bleach as this can degrade the fibres of the cloth, and allow to air dry naturally. After washing your linen, hang or lay flat to air dry naturally. To remove creases, iron when the material is still slightly damp to avoid burning the fabric.
