After leaving to soak for 10 minutes, remove the cashmere items and gently press out any excess water instead of wringing or twisting the fabric. Reshape and lay flat to air dry. We advise folding and keeping in a drawer when not in use, or placing in a zip-lock bag with cedar wool balls for long-term storage to prevent damage occurring from mildew or clothes moths. Small balls of fibre, or ‘pills’ may form after wearing, and these can be easily removed with a cashmere comb.
