Vicuña is among the most coveted natural fibres in the world. Gathered from the wild vicuña of the Andean highlands under strict ethical protections, its fibres are five times finer than human hair, yielding a cloth of exceptional lightness, warmth and natural lustre. The natural caramel tone is the fibre's own, undyed and unaltered, a colour shaped by altitude and wild grazing rather than by process. Woven in our mill in Elgin, Scotland, this scarf is finished with a delicate hand-knotted fringe. It carries all the hallmarks of the Johnstons of Elgin approach: restraint in design, mastery in execution, and a commitment to materials of the highest possible provenance. Colour: brown
