Sustainability & Provenance: The fabric comes from an Italian mill founded in 1838 as a cotton producer, the first in Italy to weave velvet and moleskin. All stages of production remain local, reducing transport emissions, and the mill substitutes natural finishing and washing agents for conventional chemical processes that would otherwise leave heavy metals and microplastics behind. The textile is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified and GOTS-capable. Final garment construction takes place at a family-owned Italian factory established in 1957, now run by the founder's daughter and her husband. Colour: blue
