Women's Purple Petite Long Sleeve Slinky Drape Ruched Detail Maxi Dress

Asymmetric ruching runs diagonally from the neckline across the bodice and down one side - it draws the eye across the torso rather than straight down, creating shape without constriction. The sleeves are ruched along their full length, so the fabric gathers softly from shoulder to wrist and moves with the arm rather than sitting stiff. A fishtail hem flares from mid-calf, giving the skirt a sweeping, layered finish that catches movement as you walk. The elastane content gives the slinky fabric genuine stretch and recovery - it holds close to the body all evening without pulling or shifting out of place. Designed for the Petite range, the proportions are calibrated for a 5'3" frame, with the maxi length landing correctly without requiring alterations. The silhouette is close-fitting from shoulder to knee, then opens into that sweeping fishtail - a shape that reads as considered and composed rather than overtly dramatic. The ruched detailing does the structural work here, cinching and directing the eye with precision. There is nothing fussy about it; the construction is the decoration. Worn as the model has styled it, with sleek heeled boots, the dress takes on a sharper, more directional edge - an approach that works well for an evening event or a formal dinner where a heel-to-floor look might feel too expected. For a wedding or graduation ceremony, a strappy heeled sandal and a minimal clutch keep the focus entirely on the cut. The long sleeve makes it a strong choice for cooler-season occasions, offering coverage without compromising on the refined, body-conscious line that defines the piece. | Karen Millen Petite Long Sleeve Slinky Drape Ruched Detail Maxi Dress in Purple | Size Small Colour: purple
