DESIGNER'S NOTES: The Sadie dress emerged from my fascination with 1940s tailoring—a silhouette that celebrates refined femininity without compromise. I selected a sumptuous silk-viscose blend for its fluid drape and subtle elasticity, allowing the dress to move with the wearer rather than against her. The watercolour floral print reflects my love of organic, painterly print. I introduced the tuxedo lapel as a counterpoint—structured geometry meeting soft florals, while half sleeves and bias-cut skirt construction ensure an adaptable, graceful fit across body types. Each button detail was intentional design elements that anchor the piece visually whilst maintaining the dress's effortless elegance. This is a dress for considered moment, intimate weddings, occasions where craftsmanship speaks louder than trends.
