Men's Black Sex Pistols God Save The Queen Vintage T-Shirt

Released in 1977, God Save the Queen became one of the most provocative images of British punk. Jamie Reid’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, obscured by ransom note typography, transformed a familiar national image into an enduring piece of countercultural artwork. Here, the graphic is presented in monochrome, giving the archival image a stark, stripped back quality while retaining the confrontational character of the original. Each tee is individually hand screen printed in the UK, then hand cracked and lightly distressed to recreate the character of an original vintage band tee. Crafted from heavyweight 180gsm organic cotton and finished with authentic vintage plastisol inks, subtle variations make each piece individual. An official Sex Pistols collaboration. Hand printed in our UK studio using vintage-correct plastisol inks. Machine wash inside out at 30°C with similar colours. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Cool iron on the reverse, avoiding the print. Each piece is hand finished, so small variations are part of its character. Organic Cotton 100% Colour: black
