Black silk velvet, cut as a sleeveless column to a full maxi length — a classic evening silhouette in one of the most uncompromising fabrics. What the Butterfly carries on its surface is what sets it entirely apart. A flight of butterflies rises diagonally across the front: each one worked entirely by hand, wings shaded from palest blush through deep rose and warm copper to soft cream. They climb in scale as they ascend — the largest settled at the waist, the smallest drifting toward the shoulder — as though caught mid-flight. Against the matte silk velvet, the pale wings appear lit from within. Made to order, hand-embroidered in Vietnam by heritage artisans. No two flights are quite identical.
