Women's Blue Mid Length Double Breasted Coat

Double-breasted front with two columns of gold-tone buttons - the kind of hardware that does the work of a statement piece without trying too hard. Wide, structured lapels sit flat against the chest and hold their shape through the day, giving the coat its polished, boardroom-ready stance. The mid-length cut falls just below the hip, long enough to feel considered but short enough to show a heel - the proportion is spot on. Turned-back cuffs add a tailored finish to the sleeve and hint at the coat's attention to detail at every edge. Flap pockets sit low on the front, keeping the silhouette clean while remaining genuinely useful. A coat with this structure earns its place at formal occasions - races, graduations, a smart wedding where the dress code means business. The double-breasted front worn open, as styled here, gives a relaxed confidence that a buttoned-up coat rarely achieves. Underneath, the model keeps things tonal with a fitted scoop-neck top, letting the coat's architecture lead. Wide-leg dark denim and block-heel ankle boots bring the look back to something wearable between events, which speaks to how well this coat crosses occasion and everyday. For something more refined, swap the denim for tailored wide-leg trousers in a complementary shade and add a silk blouse beneath - the lapels are wide enough to frame a neckline beautifully. The structured shoulders and nipped-through-the-body cut mean it works equally well over a midi dress for a winter occasion, the hem lengths playing each other in exactly the right way. | Wallis Women's Mid Length Double Breasted Coat in Camel | Size: 8 Colour: blue
