Andrea Ya’aqov founded his eponymous ready-to-wear label during Milan Fashion week in June 2013. Defined as urban, futuristic and unique, Andrea Ya’aqov’s collections are characterized by the use of monochrome palettes, contrasting materials and simplistic cuts. His first collection focused on one essential item: the hoodie. Transforming this must-have staple, he abandoned the traditional silhouette, instead creating pieces with unusual proportions. This rebellious spirit can still be seen throughout the designer’s work; the label is regularly championed as streetwear because of its edgy aesthetic.
