British-based designer Emilia Wickstead hails from New Zealand, spent her formative years in Milan and has worked in New York. This globe-trotting aspect of her personality gives her work a multi-cultural heritage that is unavoidably enigmatic. Gaining her Fashion Design BA from Central Saint Martin’s London, Emilia Wickstead originally made a name for herself as a made-to-measure atelier, launching her eponymous brand in 2008. Emilia Wickstead designs are exciting and directional in individual colours and fabrics for a dramatically different clothing experience.
