Obey
He achieved infamy with his 2008 presidential campaign poster for Barack Obama entitled Hope, which has spurred countless imitators for every type of campaign imaginable. Fairey started his Obey clothing line in 2001 as another creative outlet to express himself. The collections are influenced heavily with counter culture, punk rock, skateboarding while painting irony and satire here and there on the clothes. His men’s wear and women’s wear have a variety of tops, bottoms, jackets, jumpers, footwear and accessories, but nothing too formal. An urban retro style is the motif while the pop culture satire designs remain trademark.
