Ever since the start in the early 1990s, Trippen’s founders Angela Spieth and Michael Oehler have chosen to mix things up. With a vision to design shoes whose individual components can be exchanged and replaced, these are designs that are built to last. Each pair of closed shoes comes with removable soles and insoles, covered with vegetable-tanned leather. The handmade insoles are also made up of five layers of felt and leather to mould to the shape of your individual footbed.
