Peridot is a perennial must-have stone and it’s easy to see why as it’s the most glorious bright spring green. Like all good designs, the setting for this ring is uber simple and classy. The metal is recycled .925 sterling silver with two and a half microns of recycled 18k gold vermeil, with a water resistant e-coating of laquer, so the gold will last very well. The ring is 11g, so it is lovely and solid and wonderfully comfortable to wear. Peridot is the gemstone of gratitude. As with all gemstone jewellery, care should be taken not to drop or knock the ring as the gemstone may be damaged or dislodged. Gold vermeil will always eventually wear off, but as this ring has two and a half microns of 18k gold vermeil with a water resistant e-coating of laquer, it will last a long time.
