An original and classically cool threepence Irish coin charm from the vintage inspired Katie Mullally coin collection. The Irish name (leath reul) literally meant “half reul”, the reul being a sixpence coin worth the same as the Spanish real (a quarter of a peseta). The intricate design features a hare on one side, and a musical harp on the reverse. The threepence coin charm is worn with an adjustable 18-20 inch yellow gold-plated curb chain. As with all Katie Mullally designs, the charm is collectable and can be delicately layered with other pieces. The charms and chains are all solid sterling silver and the yellow gold plating is 22. 5 carat and 2 microns thick. Our jewellery is made in the UK, in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, from recycled 925 sterling silver (92. 5% pure silver) and finished with a 24 carat gold plating, applied at 2 microns thickness for a lasting finish. By using recycled silver, we reduce the need for newly mined metals, creating beautiful jewellery with a lighter environmental footprint. Look after a piece of Katie Mullally silver and it will last forever. After wearing gently wipe each piece of jewellery clean of make up and skin oils with a clean dry cloth.
