The Onitsuka Tiger Mexico ‘66 “White/Burgundy” is an eye-pleasing colorway of the retro trainer by the Japanese footwear brand. The Onitsuka Tiger Mexico ‘66 was originally a performance running shoe that debuted in 1966 during the trials for the Mexico City summer olympics in 1968, and through the years it has become a popular casual shoe. The modern iteration of the model is largely similar to the original edition, but is made with contemporary materials and colours. Here, “White/Burgundy” colorway has a white leather construction with burgundy tiger stripes on the sides. “Onitsuka Tiger” branding is found on the tongue tag.
