The Spanish brand Loewe, established in Madrid in 1846, was initially a cooperative of leather artisans, which was then consolidated into one workshop by Enrique Loewe Roessberg in 1872. This Spanish luxury brand remains based in Madrid and is still a leader where leather craftsmanship is concerned.
