Turn to Maison Margiela's collection of pants for your everyday staples. Available in a wide range of colors and styles, these pants are designed to last. The label merges functional, comfortable qualities with its signature design aesthetic to create pieces that will work for a range of occasions. There's a reason Maison Margiela's women's pants are so covetable! By taking time to care for your wool, you’ll ensure your item remains beautiful for years to come. Everyday care will go a long way in maintaining your wool pants, and we would advise checking the care label on each garment, as some will be dry clean only, and others hand wash or machine washable. One of the worst things you can do to wool garments is to wash them in hot water or tumble dry, as high temperatures can cause the fabric to shrink quickly. Most wool clothing can also be dry cleaned safely. If your wool item is structured, such as a blazer, suit, or coat, then we recommend to spot clean. Generally, most wool is washable and will need to be turned inside out before being washed at temperatures of 30°C or less using a specialist wool detergent. Soak for up to half an hour, rinse well and press out any water without wringing. If you want to use the machine, make sure the item is turned inside out first, place in a mesh laundry bag and ensure a low-spin, cold-water cycle is selected. Avoid tumble drying to prevent shrinkage, and leave clothing to air dry naturally away from heat sources and direct sunlight instead. Most wool knitwear, no matter how good the quality, is prone to pilling. Gently pass a pilling comb over the fibres to remove any of the bobbles.
