Sperry Top-Sider is a thoroughly nautical brand that has built its foundations on a love of the sea and of sailing. In fact, the designer Paul Sperry was thought to have been the inventor of the contemporary boat shoe 'the first shoe he created in the 30s was designed like a dog's paw to stop on-deck slipping.
