Update your closet today with Patou. Shop all the latest designer knitwear in our selection. Crafted using materials such as wool and demonstrating a pared-back aesthetic, the brand’s line of knitwear is perfect for coordinating with a whole host of outfits. Patou is renowned for creating highly wearable, well-made knitwear. The label is committed to delivering pieces that are not only expertly crafted, but look good and are fully functional, too. Pared-back and understated, Patou's knitwear defy seasonal trends and will stand the test of time. Regular care and maintenance will help keep wool in its original condition for longer. There are steps you can take to keep your wool knitwear in good condition. We recommend always following the washing instructions found on the item’s care label. Depending on the item, it is simple to spot clean or washable by hand or in the machine. Most wool is washable, with the main exception of structured pieces like suits, jackets and blazers, which are best spot cleaned. Some wool is suitable for machine washing, once it has been turned inside out and put on a 30°C gentle cycle. To reduce the risk of shrinkage, soak your wool item in cold water before machine washing. Avoid tumble drying to prevent shrinkage, and leave clothing to air dry naturally away from heat sources and direct sunlight instead. Most wool knitwear, no matter how good the quality, is prone to pilling. Gently pass a pilling comb over the fibres to remove any of the bobbles. You can’t go wrong with a pair of Patou knitwear.
