Give your knitwear collection an instant upgrade with on-trend additions from Rag & Bone. Rag & Bone takes particular care in sourcing the finest materials for its range of knitwear, so expect pieces made from wool. Rag & Bone is renowned for creating highly wearable, well-made knitwear. The label is committed to delivering pieces that are not only expertly crafted, but look good and are fully functional, too. There's a reason Rag & Bone's women's knitwear are so covetable! Once you’ve invested in a wool item, regular maintenance is a must. Before cleaning, we suggest checking the instructions on the care label before attempting to launder. One of the worst things you can do to wool garments is to wash them in hot water or tumble dry, as high temperatures can cause the fabric to shrink quickly. Most wool clothing can also be dry cleaned safely. Most wool is washable, with the main exception of structured pieces like suits, jackets and blazers, which are best spot cleaned. Hand washing is often the best and safest method, as long as a mild detergent and cool water is used. If you really want to use the machine, check that the wool item is not dry clean only and place in a mesh laundry bag before selecting a cycle designed for delicates. Soak for up to half an hour, rinse well and press out any water without wringing. If you want to use the machine, make sure the item is turned inside out first, place in a mesh laundry bag and ensure a low-spin, cold-water cycle is selected. The heat from the tumble dryer can also shrink your garment, so it is best to lay wool flat and allow to air dry away from sunlight and radiators. Knitted items should not be hung, instead fold and store out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry place.
