Ferragamo

Italian shoe designer, Salvatore Ferragamo, launched his eponymous footwear label in 1928. Famous for creating the red Wizard of Oz court shoes, Ferragamo began his career by crafting shoes for the Hollywood elite of the 20s silver screen and became famed for his unique, unconventional designs. In 1960, his widow took over the company, expanding the label with ready-to-wear, eyewear and bags. Today, the company retains Ferragamo’s experimental edge whilst modernizing the brand’s timeless Italian style.
