Women's Blue Large Tank Américaine Watch

Despite reinventions of the iconic Tank watch spanning more than a century, the clean, crisp lines and stylistic square face of this exquisite timepiece remain as desirable now as when they were originally designed by Louis Cartier in 1917. Updated with new finishes to suit contemporary tastes – this one in yellow gold with an alligator skin strap – the curved case hosts a silvered dial with distinct Roman numerals, sword-shaped hands and a sapphire-tipped crown. A classic since 1989, the playful Tank Américaine edition updates the geometry of the style with rounded edges and a more pronounced curve than the archetype – a watch for timekeeping connoisseurs only.
