Women's Purple Couture Exaggerated Bow Maxi Dress With Puddle

An exaggerated draped bow sits the shoulder, constructed from a contrast fabric that catches the light differently to the body of the dress - the tension between the two textures is the whole point of the design. Crepe fabric through the body and skirt delivers a subtly textured surface with a clean, weighted drape that skims the figure without clinging, holding its shape from standing still to moving across a room. The puddle hem trails behind as the skirt flares gradually from the knee, giving the silhouette that long, sweeping line that only works when the fabric has genuine weight behind it. Cut to sit the shoulder, the neckline is defined by the sculptural bow rather than a simple bardot line - it frames the dcolletage without relying on it. The elastane content in the main fabric means the fitted body of the dress moves with the wearer, holding the clean column shape through the evening without resistance. A dress that does not ask for much in return. The structured bow handles the statement so the rest of the look can stay restrained - strappy heeled sandals, as worn here, let the puddle hem and the silhouette speak without interruption. Drop earrings in a simple setting are all the jewellery this neckline needs. Save the clutch for something minimal. This is a dress built for black tie occasions where the dress code is taken seriously: a formal evening wedding, a gala, a charity dinner, or an awards ceremony. The trailing hem commands space, so it suits a venue that gives it room - a grand ballroom, a cathedral, a country house. It is not a dress that blends into a crowd, but it earns that attention through its construction rather than embellishment. Wear it with confidence in the cut and let the drape do the rest. | Coast Women's Couture Exaggerated Bow Maxi Dress w/ Puddle in Purple | Size: 8
