Women's Red Petite Tie Neck Metallic Jacquard Blouson Sleeve Midaxi Dress

Metallic jacquard woven fabric carries an all-over geometric diamond motif that catches the light as the skirt moves - the shimmer reads subtle in daylight and more striking under evening lighting. A smocked waistband sits neatly at the natural waist, pulling the silhouette in without the need for a belt, and releasing into a tiered, voluminous skirt that falls to a midaxi length. The tie neck detail at the high neckline adds a soft, feminine finish - the bow sits slightly off-centre and can be adjusted from a loose drape to a more defined knot. Blouson sleeves are sheer through the length and gather into cuffed wrists, giving the arms a floaty, relaxed feel that balances the more structured waist. Fully lined beneath the sheer overlay, the dress skims rather than clings through the body, and the tiered hem adds movement with every step. A party or a Christmas gathering calls for something that does the work without demanding too much effort to put together - this dress handles that well. The smocked waist and tiered skirt mean it sits comfortably through a long evening, while the metallic jacquard ensures it reads dressed-up from the moment you walk in. It works just as confidently at a winter wedding drinks reception or a festive dinner with friends as it does at a more formal celebration. The model wears hers with strappy heeled sandals in a metallic finish, which is the most straightforward way to let the dress lead - the sandals echo the shimmer in the fabric without competing with it. For a cooler venue, a slim-fit blazer in a dark neutral worn open over the top keeps the neckline visible and adds a polished layer without disrupting the silhouette. Keep jewellery paired back; the jacquard pattern carries enough detail that a simple pair of drop earrings is all that's needed. | Dorothy Perkins Women's Petite Tie Neck Metallic Jacquard Blouson Sleeve Midaxi Dress in Berry | Size: 6 Colour: red
