Women's Black Faux Leather Collared Belted Jacket

The belted waist is the jacket's defining detail - a wide, eyelet-fastening belt that cinches firmly and holds the silhouette in place rather than simply suggesting shape. Structured, squared shoulders give the jacket a strong, purposeful line from the first moment you put it on - it sits with authority without feeling heavy. An asymmetric off-centre zip runs diagonally across the front, finished with a silver-toned pull that adds a considered edge to the overall construction. A fold-over lapel collar sits open at the neck, creating a relaxed yet polished frame that works with or without layering underneath. PU fabrication with a soft, suede-like surface - it holds its shape throughout the day and wipes clean with ease, making it as practical as it is sharp. A snap-button chest flap detail on the upper left panel adds a utilitarian touch that keeps the front face from reading as too minimal. The asymmetric zip draws the eye across the chest and down to that belted waist - it's a jacket that does its own talking before you've added a thing. Cut in a cropped, regular fit, it sits just at the hip and works hardest when worn as the model does here: over wide-leg dark denim with nothing fussy underneath. The structured shoulder means it doesn't need a blazer-level formality to read as intentional. For a more considered daytime look, pair it over a fine-knit roll-neck and tailored trousers, letting the belt do the work of defining the waist. Come evening, it holds its own over a sleek midi dress - the suede-effect surface reads as dressed up without requiring any additional effort. This is the jacket that makes a straightforward outfit feel considered, worn open or fastened right to the collar. | Karen Millen Faux Leather Collared Belted Jacket in Black | Size 6 Colour: black
