Black Crane

Los Angeles-based womenswear label Black Crane is designed by Alexander Yamaguchi and Momoko Suzuki. Drawing on their Japanese heritage as well as ancient Japanese culture, the brand has become well known for its simple shapes, clean cuts and minimal finishes, all creating a thoroughly modern silhouette. Understated culottes, t-shirts, cocoon dresses and jumpsuits are all imagined in a variety of neutral shades, making them easy to mix and match. With an appreciation for environmental issues, the entire Black Crane production process, including fabric weaving, is based in LA.
