Gudrun & Gudrun

Designers and collaborative partners Gudrun & Gudrun founded their eponymous label in 2002. The duo are based in the Faroe Island between Iceland and Norway, developing a line of hand-knitted jumpers using the help of the women knitters on the isolated islands as part their women’s empowerment projects. The label delivers menswear, womenswear and childrenswear as well as knitted accessories crafted of alpaca wool and Faroese wool. Experiments with texture, shape and colour result in an eclectic collection of knitwear that references contemporary bohemian.
