Awarded the Red Dot Award for Product Design in 2014, Helly Hansen’s extreme weather clothing is a culmination of more than a century of design.
In 1877, Norwegian sailor Helly Hansen produced revolutionary, waterproof oilskin jackets. Throughout the 20th century the company reinvented their jackets, pioneering the ‘three-layer system’ and evolving the technology to be wind and cold-proof. In 1980, microporous technology was developed for breathability. Now, Helly Hansen is the last word in durable, outdoor adventure wear and the range includes running gear, ski and sailing apparel, stylish outerwear and footwear.
