Award-winning Belgian designer Jan-Jan Van Essche is from Antwerp where his eponymous label is currently based. The Jan-Jan Van Essche label was founded in 2010, delivering men’s ready-to-wear with one basic principle: that clothing can be translatable through the seasons, if only the wearer masters the art of layering. Jan-Jan Van Essche can therefore be relied on to deliver a pared-back collection of basics, inspired by ethnic fashion for loose-fitting silhouettes and a natural colour palette for easy styling, whatever the weather.
