Le Mont St Michel

Originally established in 1918 as a textile company, Le Mont St Michel was launched just a few miles from the famous abbey after which it was named. Descending from 4th generation textile manufacturers, Brittany-based Alexandre Milan brought his family DNA back to life with the brand in 1998 by combining the textile company with his own brand. As a textile company, the fruits of its craftsmanship were recognized by designers diverse as Agnes, B, Vanessa Bruno and Isabel Marant, who went to the Milans for the perfect knit. Now Le Mont St Michel is renowned for its vintage inspired knitwear while the family heritage lives on under a new direction.
