In 1979, Lenny Niemeyer arrived in Rio de Janeiro and began a successful career working as a fashion designer for numerous acclaimed Brazilian swimwear labels. With over a decade of experience, Niemeer launched her self-named label in 1991, opening her first store in Ipanema that year. Almost instantly, Lenny Niemeyer became synonymous with high-fashion swimwear, cementing its place in the industry at Rio Fashion week where Gisele Bündchen and Naomi Campbell walked for the label’s catwalk show. Incorporating all types of swim and beachwear, the line features plunging swimsuits, snake print bikinis and glamorous kaftans.
