Watch brand Mondaine was founded in 1951 in Switzerland by Erwin Bernheim and is today managed by his sons Ronnie and Andre Bernheim. Its simple iconic watch design – the unmistakable easy-to-read face, distinctive hands and the famous red second hand – is assembled in the Mondaine factory in Switzerland. Representing affordable luxury, the watches are heavily influenced by the look of classical Swiss railway clocks. Mondaine watch collections continue to be immediately identifiable and they are widely considered to be one of the “10 Classic Swiss Watch Designs”. The simplicity of monochrome is elevated with flashes of red for luxurious timepieces suitable for everyday wear.
