Péro on sale

Launched in 2009 by Aneeth Arora, a textile graduate from the National Institute of Design, Péro means ‘to wear’ in Marwari, the local language of Rajasthan. The collection is a modern interpretation of local materials, skill and the Indian textile process and was awarded the Marie Claire Award for Eco Fashion in 2012 and the Young Creative Fashion Entrepreneur award from the British Council. Materials pass from one craftsperson to another, carrying forward the Indian tradition of crafting handmade, unique pieces which evoke a sense of culture. Transcending trends, each piece is a love letter to the clothing and dressing style of the local people and features beautifully crafted details like hand-embroidered embellishment.
