Chilean-born designer Maria Cornejo carries a passion for craftsmanship in her heart and began her fashion world takeover by creating first brand Zero in 1998 as a means to re-connect with the core of her ideas about design, cutting and garment construction.
With a name that symbolised timelessness, the entire range was infused with the kind of sophisticated, simplicity that would come to define the future of the brand. Utilising elegants cuts, sculptural angles and as few hems and zips as possible to accentuate the garments natural fluidity, most of the Zero + Maria Cornejo collection is produced in New York City’s Garment District. Watch out for tuxedo blouses, sharp black pencils, tailored jackets, geometric patterns and cocoon draping in silk, wool and cashmere.
