This classic necklace is handmade in Kenya and features a beautiful combination of earthy colours and individually crafted beads. Expert artisans use traditional techniques to shape and hand-paint each clay bead, using clay sourced from the area around Mount Kenya. Each necklace is created one bead at a time, with the clay beads individually shaped, decorated and kiln-fired by hand. Delicate Czech glass beads are used between the clay beads, complemented by gold-plated metal findings for an elegant finishing touch. The handmade nature of the beads means that subtle variations in shape, colour and pattern are part of their character, making each necklace beautifully unique.
