Women's Metallic Amazonite Octavia Necklace

Amazonite brings a fresh blue-green note to the Octavia Necklace, with natural markings and tonal variation giving each stone its own character. The faceted gemstone sits in a clean octagonal setting on a fine 16 curb chain, giving the colour a polished, modern feel. It works beautifully with white, denim, navy and soft neutrals, adding just enough colour to lift a simple neckline. Wear it on its own and let the stone do the work, or layer it with simple silver chains for a more relaxed look. As with all natural gemstones, each amazonite will vary slightly in colour and markings. Presented in a Nellou pouch and jewellery box. All Nellou jewellery is made using 925 sterling silver or gold plated sterling silver. Our gold plated pieces feature a heavy layer of 18ct gold, with a standard plating thickness of 1 micron. Due to the nature of certain designs, particularly chains, plating thickness may vary slightly. We use natural semi-precious gemstones in our jewellery. As each stone is natural, variations in colour, tone and character are to be expected and are part of the individuality of each piece. We want your jewellery to stay in great condition so you can enjoy it for years to come. With some simple steps you can help prolong the life of your pieces. Remove your jewellery daily, put it on as the last step when getting ready and the first thing you take off at the end of the day. Avoid spraying with perfume and contact with creams and lotions and do not wear in water. When not being worn jewellery can be prone to tarnishing if kept in an open atmosphere, so if you are not likely to wear for sometime, the best way to store your jewellery is in a sealed bag. But if wearing regularly its fine to keep it stored in our jewellery pouch or box for a short period of time. Remember that the silver & gold plating can scratch if coming into contact with sharp or abrasive surfaces and gold plated items will with repeated wear, start to wear away the gold layer. The safest way to clean silver and gemstone jewellery, is to use a damp lint free soft cloth or silver cloth on the silver & gold plating and wipe any gemstones with a damp cloth to remove any residue.
