Women's Metallic Dainty Malachite Pendant Necklace On-Filled Snake Chain

This dainty malachite pendant necklace sets a hand-cut cabochon of natural malachite in a smooth gold bezel on a fine 14k gold-filled snake chain. Malachite forms band on band, deep green on darker green, in the oxidized copper seams of the earth, so no two stones carry the same banding. The cabochon measures about 21 by 19 mm, and the bezel sits close so the stone does the talking. The smooth snake chain moves like water and comes in an 18 or 20 inch length. The stone is real, cut from raw mineral rather than glass or resin, and the pendant is lightweight, nickel-free and hypoallergenic. Each necklace is designed and finished by hand in small batches in a San Diego studio. Malachite is a soft stone. Keep it dry and wipe it after wear to lift oils and lotion. Keep it away from chemical cleaners, perfume, chlorine and seawater. Store it on its own so nothing scratches the surface. Colour: metallic
