Women's Green Kingman Mesa Bar Necklace

A long horizontal bar of natural Kingman turquoise, cut in two and set flush, with hand-stamped sterling silver stepping out from either end. The brown webbing running through the blue is natural host rock, which gives the bar the look of a landscape. The sterling silver has an oxidized finish, and the bar hangs on an oxidized cable chain so the stone stays the brightest part of the piece. The bar measures approximately one inch and sits at the collarbone on an eighteen inch chain. Each necklace is one of a kind and handmade in an artisan workshop, so the pattern of the stone varies from piece to piece. Wear it alone with a white shirt or a simple knit, or layer it with other silver chains for a Southwest feel. Turquoise is porous, so keep the necklace dry and away from water, perfume, lotion and oils. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Store it flat in a soft pouch, apart from harder pieces, to preserve the oxidation. Sterling silver darkens over time, so use a silver polishing cloth and keep it off the stone. Colour: green
