Women's Blue Birds Cameo Necklace

Handcrafted in Italy, this necklace combines natural cultured pearls with a blue porcelain cameo depicting two birds resting on flowering branches. The heart-shaped cameo is mounted in 18k gold-plated sterling silver and entirely finished by hand in our atelier in Torre del Greco. Across many cultures, birds paired together symbolize love, harmony and enduring connection. Delicate and romantic, this necklace reinterprets the timeless art of cameo carving through a contemporary and meaningful design. Crafted from recycled sterling silver and finished in 18k gold vermeil (1 micron), this piece is designed for lasting beauty. A thin palladium layer (0. 10 micron) is applied before gold plating to protect the surface from natural oxidation and preserve the brilliance of the gold over time. Palladium is a precious anti-oxidizing metal widely used in fine jewellery. To preserve the original finish of your jewellery, avoid contact with soaps, detergents, chlorine, perfumes, and other chemical substances. When not worn, store the piece in its pouch to help protect it from natural oxidation. If necessary, gently polish the surface with a soft suede or jewellery cloth.
